Hellenic Mass Spectrometry Society (HMSS)
The Hellenic Mass Spectrometry Society is a non-profit entity in its scope and mission. Its principle objectives are to enhance and support the utilization of mass spectrometry (MS) as a discipline for basic and applied research including, but not limited to, analytical chemistry, biomedical studies and biotechnology (analysis of peptides/proteins, DNA, sugars, oligonucleotides, fatty acids, etc.), the exploitation of natural products and synthesized species in the discovery and development of pharmaceutical agents, food chemistry, environmental chemistry, clinical chemistry and the characterization and extension of ionization techniques and instrumental platforms, etc.
